Gayatri Nimmagadda, MD

Dr. Gayatri Nimmagadda received her medical degree from Guntur Medical College Nagarjuna University and completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital Chicago and residency in Internal Medicine at Harbor Hospital Center.

She continued on to complete her Hematology and Oncology fellowship at University of Maryland. She completed postdoctoral fellowship in Hematology at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Nimmagadda is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. Her clinical interests are breast cancer and lung cancer.

She joined COHA in 1994 and served as an Leadership Committee at American Cancer Society, Howard County Chapter and Medical Executive Committee at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She is a member of the American College Physicians, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Currently she sees patients in three locations, Tate Cancer Center, Columbia Cancer Center, and Annapolis Cancer Center. She speaks both English and Indian.
