Dr. Karl M. Kasamon earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Boston University Medical Center. He then went on to pursue his Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship training at University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center.
He is presently board certified in Internal Medicine Hematology and Medical Oncology.
He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Association of Cancer Research, American Society of Hematology, and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
He joined COHA in 2005 and his interests are in lung cancer. Currently he sees patients at the Tate Cancer Center, at Columbia Cancer Center and speaks both English and Polish. Dr. Kasamon enjoys bicycling, horticulture and vegetarian cooking.
