Dr. Shivang Danak graduated from St. George’s University with his medical degree and completed internal medicine residency training at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, in Gainesville, GA. He then completed a hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL, where he served as the chief fellow.
He has been actively involved with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) through their community of practice in mentorship and medical education. During his training, Dr. Danak coordinated multiple quality improvement projects to improve breast cancer and lung cancer screening, both of which were presented at the ASCO annual meeting.
As a hematologist and oncologist, Dr. Danak specializes in treating a wide range of hematology and oncological conditions, including classical and malignant hematology disorders (leukemia and lymphoma), melanoma, sarcoma, and various cancers affecting the breast, colon, kidney, liver, lung, prostate, and ovaries.
